“Clients first!” – is a huge part of the DNA that Ian Joseph and his Team have established at The Joseph Group. This motto helps them focus on striving for the highest level of customer experience, for their clients (landlords) and customers (tenants). In fact, Ian strongly believes that in life, family and business, you must strive to give more than you receive. “You can have everything in life you want if you help enough other people get what they want." - Zig Ziglar

On June 24th, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced a one-month extension of the federal eviction moratorium. In making the announcement, the CDC said, “this is intended to be the final extension of the moratorium.”

Extended stamp

NARPM® has been steadfast in its opposition to the moratorium, urging Congress and the President to concentrate instead on targeted rental assistance. We have been involved in four lawsuits challenging the moratorium, and we have issued multiple calls to action to allow policymakers to hear from housing providers about this issue. In addition, back in February, we expressed our concerns to the White House, and earlier this week, we asked the President to let the moratorium expire.

As we move forward, we will continue to look for opportunities to push back against not only this moratorium, but against allowing agencies like CDC to do this in the future.
